I would like to amend the sentence to read, "...the company she used to run poorly." Most of us who work in technology have a poor view of Carly Fiorina, and while I agree that Palin couldn't run HP, I retort that Fiorina couldn't run HP, either. She laid off 15,000 HP employees in 2002-3 and shareholders failed to get any value from the HP-Compaq merger. On the day that Fiorina was finally ousted by the HP board, shares of HP went up something like 10%. Was she the victim of sexism, or just her own incompentence?
Indeed!!
