Not Quite Moving On: The Bridge to Nowhere

James Fallows has some questions about that bridge to nowhere that Palin says she says "thanks but no thanks" to, because she apparently said, "Yes, Please" first. Does this count as policy?

Absolutely. PS: did you finish reading the Salon article? What did you think of her comparison between women now watching the rise of Palin/Republican anti-womanism and ghetto Jew watching the rise of the Nazis?

I didn't finish the Salon article because my head cold is making it impossible to finish anything, but i'll try now.....the comparison sounds a little overwrought....

OK. I finished the piece. I think not much of the ghetto Jew watching the rise of Nazi socialism comparison. It was just another bit of rhetorical filigree for Ms. Wilson and historically inaccurate at that, since, as I understand it, Ghetto Jews thought that Nazis were just more of the same awful anti-semitism while we now can imagine just how bad things would be with Sarah Palin in office.
