The baby is SO cute. As for the bear, thanks for the props! I believe he looks better because you can't see any of the seams or mistakes...but, still, I grant that like cookies made with butter, sugar and chocolate, a knit bear doesn't have to do much to be cute. I encourage trying -- it really wasn't hard (although I had to do the bum over three times). I'll post the name of the pattern when I get home and get my hands on it. I might make more!

That is one impressive bear and one gorgeous baby! I've been a knitter for forever, and I'd never thought of making a bear. Yours is fabulous.
